• The ACR1252U USB NFC Reader III is an NFC Forum certified computer connected reader developed using 13.56 MHz proximity technology. It has a SAM slot (Secure Access Module), which can be used together with a SAM card to diversify keys and mutual authentication, ensuring a high level of security for contactless transactions. Firmware update is also supported after deployment, eliminating the need for additional hardware modification.
• ACR1252U supports three NFC modes, namely reader/card writing, card emulation, and peer-to-peer communication. Supports ISO 14443 type A and B cards, MIFARE, FeliCa and NFC tags compliant with ISO 18092. It also supports other NFC devices with access speeds of up to 424 Kbps and a proximity range of up to 50 mm (depending on the tag type used).
• This USB NFC plug-and-play device compatible with both CCID and PC/SC, enables you to work with a variety of devices and applications. This makes it ideal for unconventional marketing and advertising applications such as smart posters. ACR1252U comes with an optional stand to hold the smart card reader at an optimal angle, so that users can easily attach contactless cards or NFC enabled devices to ACR1252U
