- Versatile Design - The tree collar design is easy to fit around your tree. The collar can be assembled and placed over the tree base during your tree setup. If you want to add the collar after installing the tree you can part assemble the collar and add the final section under the tree. For larger tree stands you can assemble the collar as 2 halves and wrap them around the tree base and fit the final wing nuts under the tree. The modular design means it can be added to an already decorated tree without having to lift the tree up or clear the tree of decorations as you would with a solid tree stand.
- Tree Sizes - You should measure the maximum diameter of your Christmas tree stand to ensure it can fit in the 68cm (26.8 in) base and you have 25.4cm (10 in) of space from the floor to the first branch. For artificial Christmas trees this metal tree skirt is suitable for most 6ft trees, 7ft trees, 7.5ft trees and 8ft trees and some 9ft/10ft trees. This red and white tree collar is generally too big for most 4ft and 5ft artificial trees. For real trees it's suitable for the majority of popular tree stands which hold trees from 6ft - 10ft. For shorter 4ft and 5ft real trees which have a wide branch base of around 1m and have sufficient ground clearance (25.4cm / 10 inches) it can work well.
