At the heart of our tea ceremony set is the elegant matcha bowl with its deliberately irregular shape and wavy rim that represents the hilly landscape of Japan. The relatively large bowl has a diameter of 12 cm and a height of 8.0 cm. With a volume of approx. 435 ml, the bowl offers enough space to beat the matcha tea beautifully foamy. Gradient and design of the glaze vary slightly, so no shell is the same. Each is unique. The set includes a matcha spoon "Chashaku" for optimal dosage of matcha as well as the matcha brooms, also called chasen, an indispensable accessory for preparing matcha tea. It has 80 bristles and allows the Matcha tea to beat with a firm and presentable foam. The broom holder made of porcelain (Japan "Chasentate") in the same design of the matcha bowl extends the life of the matcha broom, as the bristles dry quickly and particularly well thanks to uniform ventilation. After use, simply rinse the matcha brush with lukewarm water and place the bristles facing down on the holder. The special shape of the holder ensures that the bristles are protected and retain their shape longer.
