Plug the light directly into the wall. 3.Do not touch the glass part when using the bulbs. 4.Don't worry. The first time use there will be some smoke coming out, it will only last about 20 minutes (unless something inappropriate is placed on the fixture), as there will be dust/fat burning pieces inside the fixture. This is normal. 5.Do not cover anything in front of the lamps.
