These tests will test a stool sample for the presence of Helicobacter Pylori. H. Pylori is a bacterium that causes stomach ulcers, gastritis, blood in stools and a general stomach ache. To perform the test, use the swab provided to swab a stool sample and then insert the swab into the diluent test tube. Shake up the sample to mix the faeces with the diluent, then the lid of the swab snaps off to become a dropper. Drop 2 drops of mixture into the cassette well and the result will show shortly after. The purpose of this test is to identify if the individual has a Helicobacter Pylori infection. If they do, they will need to see a doctor for antibiotics. If they do not, then the cause of the stomach discomfort will be caused by another factor. This pack contains three separate tests, so three different samples can be checked over different days incase one test did not pick up any of the bacteria.
