This Lest We Forget Presentation Pack was issued by the Royal Mail on the 8th November 2007. It Marks the 90th Anniversary of the Battle of Passchendaele. Few battles are more symbolic of the terrible reality of World War I than the ‘Battle of Mud’. The four Country Definitive stamps represent the loss of life suffered by all parts of the United Kingdom in World War I. This is the second in the Lest We Forget series commemorating the 90th Anniversary of the armistice.
