100 Essential Exercises for Clarinet

“100 Essential Exercises for Clarinet” is a collection of exercises designed to improve finger and hand positioning and also overall technique. Most of the exercises are 32 measures in length. Although most of the studies are written to be played in a legato (slurred) manner, other articulations can be applied. Some of the exercises are written for specific problem areas such as: over the break, interval connections, left hand and right hand pinkies and more. There are a number of pages for scale and arpeggio work and five solos at the end of the book for applying articulations. The etudes in this book will enhance the technique of any clarinetist.
